Sl. No.233; Parama purusha jagadeesvara; Vasantha; Aadi ; Keerthanam; Saanskrit.
Artist:
Neyyattinkara Vasudevan.
Note:
Some believe this was the first composition of Swathi. Also rendered in Nadanamakriya, but rarely.

Oh PARAMAPURUSHA! God of the universe! PADMANABHA! Enemy of demon MURA! Victory unto you.
Oh SAURE! Your glory is praised by BRAHMA, SANKARA and INDRA.
Your smiling beautiful face resembles the lotus; Oh Lord! You have GARDUA as your vehicle; You are the vanquisher of the demons and saviour of those who prostrate at your sacred feet. You are like wild fire to the malicious.
You recline on the serpent king; You adorn pure gold ornaments; You hold SANKHA and CAKRA in your two hands; You are the fountain of wisdom and free from desires-MOHA.
You adorn beautiful garlands of wild flowers and KAUSTUBHA; You are worshipped by sun; You wiped out the afflictions of INDRA and You are the Lord of SYANANDURAPURA.
