Sl. No.143; Karunakara; Begada; Roopaka; Keerthanam; Saanskrit.
Artist:
Madurai T. N. Seshagopalan.

Oh KARUNAKARA! MADHAVA! Having effulgent golden attire! Protect me!
You vanquished the demon MURA; Lord of the universe; the beauty of your face excels moon in beauty; Victory to You always; oh HARI!
Annihilator of sin; Your virtues are praised by sages; You protect the world; You took the form of a cowherd; bless me with auspiciousness; You are worshipped by celestials as well non-celestials.
You are worshipped by virtuous ones; please reside in my heart. You have TILAKA on your forehead; You remove lustful passion; Your auspicious form is worshipped by SIVA and BRAHMA; You are the progenitor of Cupid. You are eternal.
You are kind enough to those who bow at your feet; You recline on the serpent; oh the serpent; oh Lord PANKAJANABHA! Destroyer of enemies; You have eyes resembling the lotus and you removed the fear of the king-elephant.
