How can one describe the radiance of the autumnal moon-faced Lord PADMANABHA, the beloved of LAKSHMI, appearing on the attractive GARUDAVAHANA!
Decked up with beautiful earrings, in the shape of MAKARA-fish, bangles, anklets, gem studded garlands and golden yellow attire;
With all the darkness done away, since the devotees walk with lamp posts which compete with rising sun;
The beautiful ladies who have decked up themselves are seen along with their beloveds on the front yard of the houses on either sides;
With warriors who make grief in the minds of enemies, walking with weapons and worshipping the Lord;
With devotees, delightfully holding different kinds of VYAJANA-fans, ATAPATRA-umbrellas , CAMARA-fly flaps etc. in their hands and ceremoniously serving the Lord with enthusiasm;
With soldiers lead by their chieves, parading on both sides and serving the Lord's feet with great joy;
With everyone walking in silence, brimming with devotion in their minds, since the Lord is setting out for hunting.
