Oh the Lord of RAGHU dynasty! You have the bow, which annihilates the clan of enemies in totality. You are praised by SIVA; Have a face resembling the lotus; a form akin to the dark clouds; are the source of joy forever, have golden raiments; treasure trove of virtues; adorn nine-gemmed garlands; favour the noble ones; You are the peerless one.
You are surrounded by monkeys; you won over RAVANA in the battle field; walk with gait of an elephant; subdued the pride of ocean; have a form that equals that of Cupid; you please the eminent ascetics. You with the prowess of your strong arms vanquished the great warrior, BALI, the son of INDRA.
you are the one who broke the mighty bow; annihilated the golden deer with a pointed arrow; bestower of wises; consort of SITA; worshipped by the entire universe; embodiment of beauty; a terror to the demons; a TILAKA to the whole world; won over PRASURAMA. Oh the moon of the solar dynasty.
Your teeth gleam like jasmine buds, the beauty of your eyes surpass that of lotus; Oh PADMANABHA! You lips are red and charming; you dwell in the prosperous SAKETA; your benevolence surpasses the celestial tree. You have a moon like face; are surrounded by DEVA-s. You are adorned with the mark of sandal paste on the forehead.
